Ahh what an amazing campground! We got a tent spot for the night and it was only $15, a great space, and easy to find and close to everything! We were the only ones at the lake, which had lovely beach chairs and lifeguards! It was perfect for our family. The bathrooms were so clean and nice hot showers were a plus. Even have laundry if you need it! The archery was inexpensive and very fun as were the paddleboats. We even had a 4 person paddleboat! The playground was also a hit for us. Had such a great day here and I'm not the most outdoorsy person, either!

This Famcamp is just off base. It is busy around the football games. The road in is tight in some spots be conscious of the time arriving. Our site was partially shaded and level. A nice view of the pond. Facilities are clean. Good washers and dryers. We were close to the dump station and laundry and the aromas that come with that. The range is near by and you can hear training from time to time. There is an archery range on site as well. Gas and Commissary prices are better on base. If you can catch a game you should. This is one of the most beautiful bases that is steeped in history. A great fall foliage stop.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The sites are a little tight for our 35' 5th wheel but once settled in we were very comfortable. Beautiful grounds, great fishing, and a lot of room to walk the pup and explore. We would absolutely return again.

Unfortunately, yes, but please don't bring dogs as they bother other campers.

Yes
No, just family and friends or related to someone who is military. They must sign the contract for the stay of the camping outing and be on premises. At least that's what it says on the website. I have camped at Lake Frederick and my son is stationed at West point, so when he isn't available, my daughter in law, his wife, will stay with us.
Only active/reserve/guard or retired can make reservations. Hope this helps.
Yes there is tent camping, as for Yonkers, you would have to get yourself to Garrison metro North station and ride it to Yonkers. There is a shuttle but no one knows anything about it🙄
The is electric and water with a honey wagon for sewage removal.
Yes but must be on a leash
