If I could give it half of a star, I would! Front desk girls from the emergency room dept spend more time gossiping than helping patients that really need it. I went in with severe lower back pain, to the point where I was crying and barely able to move, sat in the waiting room for over 30min without any offers of comfort from them. I asked if they could wheel me outside since I had someone to pick me up, they just starred at me with the most dumbfounded look, so I said I was wheeling myself.. they had the nerve to tell me that I needed to check with security first before taking the wheelchair outside. I will Never go back to that hospital.

Wish I could give zero stars!!! This hospital evidently has a reputation but I had no time to read reviews since we truly had an emergency! We too went to triage multiple times just to be sent back to waiting room. My husband was suffering from COVID and they didn’t even isolate us. He couldn’t keep anything down, hence pain or fever reducer was not in his system. Took blood before giving iv even though patient was dehydrated. Took them over 4 hours just to give him an IV and then discharge without seeing a doctor or making sure he could drink water or eat. Bedside manner was horrific. Being told stories of someone having a stroke after getting a booster….keep those stories to yourself because they are not helpful when you’re ill and not understanding what may happen next with your case. Had to ask multiple times just for a blanket and remind the nurse what medicine they promised to give. This was not a place that wanted to provide acceptable patient care. Not fit to be called an Emergency Room if you treat everyone like they came to an unequipped urgent care.

the only good thing I can share about this hospital was the emergency department receptionists. I took my fiancé here for a possibly fractured jaw. we arrived shortly after 11 pm. check in went fast, triage and x-ray order in the first 30 mins. x-ray was taken at 11:37pm. it’s now 3 am and not only have we not gotten the x-ray results back, but they ordered a ct scan at 2 am and we haven’t heard back about that either. our nurse, sharita, has no bedside manners. using the phrase “whatever” when questioning my fiancé. i’d rather go to cape fear in fayetteville than come back here and that’s saying something.
