A comfy little place, somewhat tucked away from the street. Exposed brick and sturdy wooden beams from a bygone era, plus, maybe, your grandmother’s lampshades, provide warmth and charm. We ordered lamb and scallops dishes off the prix fixe menu (soup/ appetizer, entree, dessert all for $25!) and all was really good. (Prix fixe not on weekends.)

Great meal with amazing service. Shelia was so welcoming, cheerful, and attentive. The girl behind the bar was nice and the soup, lamb, and lobster pasta were all perfectly prepared. Good drinks as well. Stopped here after arriving on the train and will come back.

One of my new favorite restaurants! Super impressed by the prix fixe menu offered during the week. Generous portions at a great price, and everything we had was delicious. I especially loved the fried mozzarella, which was super unique and very reminiscent of the local Our Lady of Mount Carmel Feast’s fried dough. I loved the vibe of the restaurant because it felt like such a classy, old-time Waterbury restaurant that I didn’t think existed anymore. We loved our waitress Jessica, who was super friendly and more than happy to tell us about the history of the building when we asked. I’m looking forward to my next dining experience here!
