We recently completed our lease from the period of June 2021-August 2022. Our monthly rent for a 1,000-square-foot apartment was approximately $1,300/month, with a typical summer utility bill of $200 plus and significantly less in the winter. The last portion of our lease was a month-month arrangement running approximately $1,800 monthly. Our experience while residing here was largely unpleasant. Initially, we chose this apartment, seeking to save $100 monthly compared to similar surrounding apartment complexes. This is a mistake I will not repeat. Within the lease, papers included a notice that asbestos is within the walls. This health risk is allowable by law as the apartments were constructed a few years before federal regulation mandating the compound linked to mesothelioma be removed from residences. In addition to chemical concerns, my spouse and I ordered takeout after a long moving day. Unfortunately, this meal was ruined once we identified that a cockroach had crawled from our kitchen counter into the to-go box. The complex took steps to amend this infestation we had moved into with weekly visits from pest control. However, nearly two months eclipsed before the pests were eradicated. Another frustration we experienced during our residence was the patio inspections that occurred no less than six times while we lived here. During these inspections, the property staff would ensure that there were no flammable materials on your patio area. While annoying, this is likely a mandatory safety practice as there are no sprinklers anywhere throughout the complex, and every apartment houses a functional wood-burning chimney. Additionally, the fire department ordinance allowed no grills or smokers within 50 yards of the building. While on the topic of smokers, at one point, we received notice on our door that a resident had identified the smell of marijuana coming from the building. If complaints were received a second time, our apartment would be searched. After this notice, we received a second threatening notice for the same offense. To be clear, we don't smoke, but the threat of intrusion of privacy and inspection of our home did not appeal to us. The complex boasts amenities like an onsite gym, charcoal grill, and a swimming pool which looks very nice on their website. This swimming pool was closed until early August for repairs, with the grill remaining inaccessible. In conclusion, I will discuss the moveout process. We intended to place most of our belongings in a U-Haul U Box for our cross-country move. Upon the moving box's arrival, no less than two hours expired before a call from the complex stating we could not use this moving service as it occupied space in the parking lot. I am unclear how the box was obstructive to the parking situation or traffic flow, but I digress. We had paid $450 in deposits (rental and pet), and rest assured that the complex utilized the entirety of these funds with the addition of a $50 bill to close our statement. In our prior three apartments, we have always received our deposit back. We went so far as to record a video of our final walkthrough of the cleaned apartment. While frustrating, we paid the additional $50 rather than have the complex follow through with sending the bill to collections within 30 days of the notice. I know this is an inexpensive option for housing, but if you can at all afford an alternative housing option, I would recommend going elsewhere.

Parking is impossible. -Updated- In response to the property reply - I will not remove my review. Just because I do not live here or have not attempted to live here does not mean I have not been to the property. I have friends who live here and again, parking is impossible to find. That is a fact and my residential status cannot change that. In fact, I have changed my rating to reflect the arrogance of whoever chose to ask me to remove my SIMPLE review based on such a dumb reason. 4 to 3. Thank you and have a wonderful day! 😊

Don't know never lived there or stayed there I know of someone who lives there. I checked into this place online to see about renting an apartment back in March

I have been here since the summer and I absolutely love it here! Cheyenne made my Move-in so smooth & easy. Ladies in the office are great. Definitely recommend living here!
