My daughter found bedbugs in her bed at 2 a.m. we had to pack our stuff and leave. I'm allergic to them and certainly don't want to take them home. Edit: The owner was a very nice man. He called the next day to apologize and gave a full refund. Both beds that were in the room had just been replaced and were brand new still had the plastic on the box spring. He was actually really upset that upon his inspection he also found a bedbug.

Overall OK; lesser price, Thank goodness. Very nice staff. Comfortable room and bed. The wall paper in the bathroom was peeling at the seams and around the ceiling. The shower was DANGEROUS. Dark and had a huge beveled and slippery floor!! The sides were down low and the middle was crowned and up high.

I am not a picky person, I just want a clean safe place to stay for the night. I don’t often leave bad reviews. But this hotel was the worst I’ve ever stayed at. We did not feel safe here, there were sketchy people staying there seemingly long term. Lots of noise, horrible smoke filled halls... torn and dirty carpet down the halls. Don’t be fooled by the picture of the pool. It is a half filled algae pond that is not in use and looks like a horror movie. Bedroom upstairs at least did not smell of smoke, but the carpeted floors were moist and sticky. The bathroom was gross (actually I found blood on the wall) and I bought cleaning supplies and cleaned it before using. We couldn’t change our reservations without incurring charges so we chose to stay anyway. I will say a few good things, it’s the cheapest place to stay for a week in the large surrounding area. The sheets at least seemed clean. In covid times it was nice to have a real breakfast. The family that runs the place was very nice and accommodating. I really think they could turn this place around and make it nice if they did not allow smoking at all and just remodeled one room at a time. The spray they use to cover up the smoke smell only makes it worse.
