Everything was perfect, the room, the dining area and especially the breakfast! The furnishings were gorgeous and the house has been extremely well kept up. The inn keeper is not only friendly but an excellent cook!

Family of 4 stayed in Annex #3 (King bed+ bunk beds!), very clean and comfortable all around. Great location. Liz was very friendly and welcoming. Appreciated full coffee/tea/hot cocoa station and refrigerated bottled water/beverages. Main house was lovely, well decorated, not cluttered. We enjoyed reading on the front porch. Great Saturday farm market, and local hiking.

Beautiful and very clean. Loved the vibe. Stayed in the Monroe room, very nice. Super easy check in and out. The plated gourmet breakfast each morning was an awesome surprise. Great job by Liz and the rest of the staff!

We booked the Monroe room. It reeked of cigarette smoke, as did the hallway leading to the room. In all the common areas, there are Air Wick scent plug-ins used in every room. Funny how they tell you there is a $150.00 fee for smoking in your room. They were able to put us into a smaller room, but we wanted the larger room. We asked for a discount on the smaller room and the response was a blank look. We needed to leave early in the morning, prior to the 8:30 am breakfast schedule and they wouldn't prepare anything for us to take on the road. We've stayed at numerous B&B's and this is the first time that request was not granted. The person managing the building should not be in the hospitality business. EDIT TO ADD: Don't believe anything written by the owner in their response. There was no offer to fumigate the room, it wasn't a faint smell (it was strong), it wasn't in a neighboring room , it wasn't cigar smoke and at no time was anybody asked to stop smoking. In fact, the innkeeper, told us a delivery person was the culprit for smoking outside the building and the smoke came into the room. The smell was so thick it was disgusting. Just what you want to deal with after a 6 hour drive. How about those Air Wick fresheners plugged into the outlets of all the common rooms? Nice homey touch.
