I honestly wish I had done my due diligence on this company. After paying a total of $1,500+ as the first month payment for medical and dental for my family of 4. it has been hard to book an appointment. The website and how to login to other sites such as united health care was just terrible. my agent here in Wisconsin. Signed us up and that was it!!... No follow up or even to help with my issue. Texted him and no reply. UPDATE after my last review. I received a call from their representative Ms J Poole. She was helpful and managed to resolve the issue. I’m pleased to announce I got the full refund.

I purchased this policy in April 2022 and it has been a NIGHTMARE. I would have been better off uninsured than attending doctors' visits MISINFORMED by agents of the cost. My plan was a $5000 deductible with 5 "FREE" well visits. Well after paying 6 months of premiums, a well visit/ with blood taken, and one urgent care visit- they have paid a total of $80 as my "health insurance." The insurance agents are dishonest, the people on the phone are either misinformed or dishonest, and this is such a scam. Also, since canceling my policy I was told any open claims I had while the policy was active automatically does not get processed with "coverage" therefore, they tried to convince me to keep paying until claims went through. I'M SORRY WHAT?..... ummmm that is the most absurd thing and I am not even sure as legal/ethical. I am young and needed coverage after turning 26. Shame on these people for taking advantage and literally lying about my plan on the phone. Now it makes perfect sense why they do not share info via email. SHOUT OUT: DANI AND CLAY and thx for ghosting me when I found out this was a scam.

I would select 0 stars if that was an option. Not only is their coverage poor but their customer service is worse. I WOULD NOT recommend.

I just took my 4 year old for a normal well check. They wouldn’t cover the basic check up. I have paid close to $7,000 in insurance this year and my children only went to the doctors once this year for this well check. Guess I should have not even bothered with insurance and I would have an extra $6,000 in my pocket right now. Shame on you United Health. US Health has seen this review and asked me to reach out to resolve the issue. I will update the post to see if they did it did not help to resolve the issue.

You need to call the Texas Department of Insurance that regulated their industry. Ww all have the same issues. If we call call and complain the state depart that regulates insurance companies and provides licensing will not allow this to continue. They are liable for a) advertising what they are not providing, b) liable for scamming people, etc. They need to have their license pulled.
Log into your online portal and request new cards. you can also call in and request them and you will receive them either way within a day or two
I mean sure, why not. I fully anticipate to not see the money I'm due, but if by chance I receive, I'll definitely update! Side note, someone posted in a FB group I'm in, selling this insurance without specifically naming it, and when I shared my experience, after checking the OP's personal profile & seeing her employment listed as USHEALTH group, the post was taken down.
Contact the Us Health division in your area. You can find them online at the website.
We will let our Customer Service team know about your request.
Go to www.myushg.com or call customer service
Yes, unfortunately you will need to call in for assistance.
Because you generally dont have a copay but that depends on which level of coverage you have.
Give them a call. They'll send you electronic copies for temporary and hard copies in the mail.
Even if you're on plan 1 you have at least 2 options that will take care of you depending on all the ancillary benefits on your plan. You can activate your premier med feature which has 100% coinsurance and unlimited benefits (which is probably what you should do), but you also have the option to upgrade your plan to plan 3 even in the middle of a claim. If you are lucky enough to have medguard in your plan, you can activate that as well because a heart attack counts as a critical illness. This would more than cover the deductible for premier med and would leave you cash positive while Freedom Life pays the rest of your bills.
Hi Steve! I'm not currently in my office bit i will check once i get in today and respond.
I have been on the general plan and its not covered. BUT if you upgrade to the surgucal plan, they cover everything in full after the deductible has been met. This differs from State to state where they will only cover up to a certain amount in some states and full in others. I was lucky enough to have all covered. I did not pay anything after deductible was met. Worked out great for us...
