The hotel itself is very convenient due to the location. We were able to walk to the main strip on less than 5 minutes. The hotel, however, not impressed. Room was noticeably dirty. Shower was horrible. Not clean whatsoever. We ended up going to Walmart and grabbing body wipes and disinfectant spray for the bed and door knobs. We were going to make hot water for tea and the coffee pot was crusty. Big disappointment.

John checked us in. He was very welcoming. We hung out at the fire pit with an amazing group of people. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Would stay again!

Let's make this clear - this is a 5-star review, but I'm not suggesting this is a "5-star" resort where the concierge will get you tickets to the gala and a bellhop will get your matching luggage out of the limo. My son and I stayed here for one night while skiing nearby, and this was exactly what we had hoped, and perfect for our trip! Super convenient to both Holiday Valley (<5 mins by car) and downtown (< 5mins walking). Our room was in a separate building, not in the main lodge - seems like a repurposed house. It was great - not fancy, but the beds were comfy and the bathroom was ~updated. Best of all, it had character, which is sorely missing from the cookie--cutter chains. Breakfast was OK. No eggs or waffles, but plenty of bagels, muffins, and cereal, and the coffee was good. We'll stay here again next time we're in the area.

The front walkway and sidewalk in front was the only sideway still covered in ice. Very dangerous to walk on. Our room was old and very outdated and had a musty smell. The shower head was not working properly. There were holes in the walls and broken floor tile in the bathroom. The carpeting was terrible. Walls are very thin. We heard guests that were above us and beside us all night.Would never stay here again.
