This place is a joke workers just walk around telling you to sign in on a tablet but they take there time to get to you they should just have people make appointments for pickup if there going to be rude while you wait.

You can never get a hold of anyone to set an appointment. I been trying for ever a month.I called multiple times with no answer and right after they send u a text and I replied back with wanting to set an appointment but good luck ever getting a hold of anyone.

No one answers the phone when u call..ever! When u go in. Girls rude. No walk ins, she barely wants to make me an appt. I cannot get in for 2-3 months. My eye Dr. Supposedly went to work here but they did not know her. Or care. My records were even transferred here. Place sucks. Will not go back

ACE eye care is designed to waste your time. I have been turned away two times even with appointments. The last time because I was late less than 10 minutes. Most medical facilities allow patients a 15 minute window. Do not come here unless you are desperate and have no other options. The service is horrendous.

They take my medi-cal kern family. Was just there last week.
The cost of an eye exam depends on the type of insurance you have. Some insurances fully cover an eye exam, and others require copays or only cover certain types of eye exams. I encourage you to call your insurance to find out what your vision benefits are. You may also call ACE at 661.215.1006 with your insurance information handy, and one of our friendly patient service specialists will check your eligibility and let you know what your insurance covers and how much an eye exam will cost you.
I know they take medical I don't understand what you mean by an emergency
At this time, we are unable to accept pure Medi-Cal for eyeglasses. However, we do accept Kern Family Health Care and Envolve plans for eyeglasses.
ACE provides comprehensive eye care services, including eye exams, and we also sell eyeglasses. We are proud to accept Medi-Cal, including Kern Family Health Care and HealthNet.
Thank you for your great question. At ACE we accept most PPOs, as well as Medicare, Medi-Cal, Kern Family Health Care, and more. We do accept Huamana for medical visits as long as it is a PPO plan. When you contact our office, our eligibility team will be happy to confirm whether we're able to see you with your insurance.
Yes, we do have a provider who accepts United Healthcare for certain medical eye care. Please contact our office regarding the specific care you are in need of, to see if United Healthcare can cover them.
While every case is of course different, ACE's highly trained optometrists and ophthalmologists have a lot of experience managing Glaucoma at all stage of the disease.
So sorry about that, best time to call is mid day, however I believe if you press 3, you should be able to leave a message for someone to call you back. Also try emailing them.
Thank you for that great question! In many cases our optical department is able to use your current frame and replace the lenses with a new prescription. However, there are situations where the frame might not properly support your new prescription or might not be in a good enough condition. If you bring your frame to our office, our optical department will be able to take a look and let you know if it's possible.
Due to the busy nature of our office we see patients by appointment only and are not able to see walk-ins. We are open Monday through Friday.
Yes, ACE proudly accepts Medi-Cal. Due to the busy nature of our practice, we see patients by appointment only and are not able to accept walk-ins. Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. We currently do not have an office in Delano that serves the general public, but we're happy to see Delano residents at our Bakersfield location.
7 to 9 business days optical will give you a call once your glasses are in.
