Gerald Tomassian helped us about 15 years ago and he was amazing!! For the kne who put a 1 star rating but has had no affiliation with the office, shame on you!! Mr. Tomassian is not only an amazing attorney but an amazing human being. The one who left the rating of him taking from your kids, shame on you too as it was my experience that his number 1 priority were my kids... sorry you lost against him.

If you want the best possible outcome for your' ex, then Gerald is absolutely the lawyer for you.

I have referred several clients to Gerald Tomassian for help with their Family Law cases. He does his best to try to keep fees down by not causing the parties to fight. The more parties fight, the higher attorney fees. It costs money to fight your opponent, even if it is an ex-spouse or near ex-spouse. When parties get along, they save money. It is as simple as that. I refer my clients to Mr. Tomassian because he tries to save them money. The reviews I read here tell me that one is from an non-client, ex-spouse just trying to rattle Mr. Tomassian, and the other is unhelpful because you cannot help someone who hides behind a secret name. I know Mr. Tomassian and his office would make any errors right by their clients. That firm has the highest standards you would expect from a professional law office. I take my referrals quite seriously! I will continue to refer my valuable clients to this office since their great praise reports make me feel good about the referral, and, frankly, make me look even better to my clients.

I would not recommend this place very unprofessional!!!!!

You should talk it over with your potential partner. And then you should talk it over a second and a third time. Make sure it’s what you both want.
July 30, 2019 marked the date that Gov. Gavin Newsom signed into law the legislation that allows for all Californians to register as domestic partners.
Try to keep in mind, however, that a domestic partnership isn’t purely beneficial.
You must register a domestic partnership with the California Secretary of State.
Other real properties are usually divided, similar to the family house. However, the property’s ability to generate income is considered in the division decisions.
First of all, the family home has to be entirely or partly a community property for it to be a subject in the divorce proceedings.
The divorcing couple doesn’t have to wait on the judge to decide on how they divide property if they can agree amongst themselves.
Property often sounds like real estate and tangible assets. But the legal definition in California is broader and covers a number of items.
The California property division laws have been subjected to a lot of misinterpretations. For example, many people think that the division is always 50/50.

Even if you and your partner have split, your children will always be at the center of your life. Their present and future are still in your hands, and they need you.
If you are trying to get your custody agreement modified, you should refrain from doing the following: Avoid verbal confrontations with your ex-spouse and/or children. Avoid physical confrontation with the ex-spouse and/or children. Avoid exposing your child to new partners you may have. Avoid criticizing your ex-spouse to legal parties, family, or friends. Avoid missing child support payments and agreed-upon family responsibilities. Avoid overindulgence in alcohol, and of course all drug use. Don’t Lie. Don’t cut off the current custody rights of your ex-partner.
Changes may occur anytime by mutual agreement of both parents.
Along with outside circumstances that may occur, there may be other factors that could move into the relationships that could alter your custody agreement.
When you first get divorced, your child may be young, and the initial custody is decided upon using the facts at that time.
Filing a restraining order in Fresno is always serious, but sometimes very necessary for the safety and protection of yourself and those you love.
The California court takes far fewer chances with restraining orders filed for domestic violence situations.
If you have deemed it necessary to file a protective order, you have done so for your physical, emotional, or mental protection.
If you do decide, with the help of your lawyer, to file a protective order, then the “restrained person” will have committed a crime if they violate it.
Restraining orders, also known in Fresno as protective orders, will prevent a specific person from threatening, stalking, harassing, and otherwise abusing you in any manner whatsoever.
