Terrible experience checking in. The lobby was incredibly hot, no air conditioning. At 3 PM we were told our room was not ready, and we would have to wait. At 3;20 another guest shows up and gets the exact room type they made us wait for. I was told the rooms are pre assigned, and they can't make changes. So we had to wait until our exact room was ready, regardless of whether the hotel was empty. There were only a few cars in the parking lot when we arrived, and not many more in the morning. The hotel was not close to full, probably not even half full. This brings me to breakfast. A bag with a room temp bob evens sandwich ( supposed to be kept frozen until ready to microwave) a warm bottle of water, and warm juice. And the location is not near anything. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Hampton Inn when in Warren. If not for the fact that I bicycled into town, I would not stayed here

Thank you Jennifer at the front desk. So personable! She was so nice to everyone who came through the door. Uber helpful and easy to talk to! Classic Warren charm! And then gave us a great trip for the next stop on our trip!! The Mexican restaurant there is fabulous! Great food great staff! The rooms were cool and clean!! Very nice to bike riders!!

We’re here now for a 2nd night reservation. My point may be skewed due to recent stay at Hilton inn Geneva Ohio which I give multiple 5s for. The hotel lobby and area outside our room here is extremely hot. For some reason the 1st floor guest rooms air conditioning units exhaust into this are which is occupied by a Mexican restaurant. You can’t escape the heat wave on the way to the elevator. No ice machines ! Only snack machine on 3rd floor. Asked about ice and clerk said she’d have to get it from the kitchen later. Later might have been a trip to Mexico to get it. Never told we needed to ask for room service to get clean towels etc. but the ladies were very nice when I asked for them. My husband says what do you want fora cheap hotel and I say $96 isn’t that cheap. The Hilton was $200 though. Look for a better place!!

Postives: friendly and accommodating staff. Price per night. Mexican restaurant with great food. Negatives: Cleaning staff need to be fired! My first room was found to be dirty/used from the previous night. Staff put my family into another room. The next morning, it was found that the cleaning staff also had not taken all the dirty towels. I had stayed at this hotel on a regular basis due to work from 2001-2004. Due to familiarity of the hotel is why I stayed this time. I will likely never stay here again when I come to Warren.
