Earnaisha Clark
Pete is the best instructor that I have had the pleasure of learning and understanding gun laws and safety from. I definitely recommend taking his classes! Definitely needs to get paid more, for his effort and attitude is top tier!

Hello, to go to shoot you need an ID. Preferably Texas license if you have. Especially to rent the weapons. To get the license you need to complete 6 hours of course, submit the application, pass a background check, and pass the exam that includes test with 50 shots. (Warning !: To buy / carry a firearm, one must be an American citizen or a minimum permanent resident. It does not need to be any to be able to shoot with rented weapons)
If you need your license, I don't know about the classes. I don't work there.
They offer a pistol basics course as well as several other firearms courses. Their website is a great place to check for details.
9mm, no problem..call ahead first. Or check out the website for rules and restrictions.
Call them.
Yes, you will be sorprice
Nope
I don't think they have classes in Spanish. I think the written exam is only in English too.
Hi Retrina, Check out our Website for prices www.dfwgun.com. Look forward to meeting you!
Yes, with proper documentation. The ammunition must be less than 400 grains.
Absolutely, we love hosting international guests, please bring your passport and depending on your type of Visa you may need to purchase a hunting license. Look forward to meeting you! Currently the 5 day non resident hunting license is 48$.
Hi Anna, yes many of the people that come to the range are first time shooters. Our staff would be happy to walk you through.
They do even layaway I believe
Any time after 1:00pm would be fine. Please call us
Please stop by the range and allow us to help you with your needs.
By all means come down and see what we have in stock
Can I get license to carry class here?
They have different rates for different guns. If I remember correctly 9mm handgun was 50 or 55 with 50 rounds
10 years old
If you bring a gun, it needs to be holstered or in a case. No walking in with a gun in your hands. The sell range time by the hour. You are usually processed and ready to shoot in just 10-15 minutes. Maybe more maybe less depending on how busy they are. To save on ammo costs, I recommend taking your time to aim and maybe even do two shots at a time, then lower the gun and get ready to re-aim. Also, load less rounds in the magazine than maximum. Say do 10 bullets at a time. Then retract your target, mark your hits with a pen or marker, and try to improve on the next one. You can count up your points between magazines and make a game out of it. I should note that safety is very important. Please treat all guns as loaded. That means never point it at someone. Keep the barrel pointed down to the ground or down range. Keep your finger off the trigger until you're ready to shoot. Wear good hearing protection. Guns are loud. Even more so indoors. Above all else, have fun!
50 yards
Idk sir all ik is that they gone work with you and they chill dab but yuh I think you good
Yes
Yep. Just make sure your gun is in its box or a case before you come in. If you don't have one, come inside without the gun and ask to borrow a case. Also, no steel core bullets are allowed. You can check your ammo with a magnet if you aren't sure. They'll ask to see your rifle ammunition before you go in as well.

If you are a veteran there is a discount but the class is 75 dollars.
DFW gun range is a great place, the staff is very helpful and will be right by your side for any questions. Make sure you let them know its your first time.
You can bring as many as you want
75$ and they do.
The truth is, I do not know but more surely than not
You do not need to bring anything, but if you have your own firearm you should bring it if you intend to practice with it. They have rental guns, ammo, and eye & ear protection available. I would highly recommend calling them and seeing if they have an intro class or instructor who can help you learn to shoot. They have really great instructors and even a seasoned shooter can learn a thing or two from the instructors at DFW Gun Range. They also have ladies night on Tuesday nights, ladies do not have to pay the $15-20 range fee.
You would have to call. The only type of shotgun certification I know of is in the training for armed security. They do that, but I don't know how often.
Yes this is an indoor range
YES!
Not too sure ... but call them ... more than happy to help
Yes you can. I would call them and ask.
Lane fee is 17.99 per person. Gun rentals vary from 35 and up, plus ammo.
Its very reasonable! They have a very broad range of firearms to select from. I would check their website or call. They have super friendly and helpful staff to help you out!
