I've known about Rock Barrell for a long time great people.

I love this store and have been going there with a friend a couple of times a year for many years now. They have larger rocks, and smaller rocks in bags. I particularly like the Peruvian Rhodonite in bags. If you see something you like, snap it up. It will probably not be there the next time you go. They have a ton of real crystal beads on strands along the walls. This is a nice way to try different stones.

Yes they have EVERYTHING
If you are referring to clear quartz crystal balls, I don't recall seeing any there, but it is definitely one of the shops I would look ... there's new stuff there all the time, and my focus is usually on the beads ... if you are referring generically to mineral balls and spheres, oh, yes, they have them ...
Most gemstone beads for jewelry making are enhanced to bring out color or stabilized to make them more durable, but they are still gemstones. They will mark them as glass or synthetic if not real...when in doubt just ask. Rock barrel is one of the most trusted names in around for quality, knowledge, and service. It is family owned for a couple generations...they really know their craft. I buy beads there all the time for my Etsy business.
Yes, they do. Rough and polished
Call them on the phone. Better yet; go visit.
Everyone social distances in here as best as possible, they have sanitation "stations" when u first walk in.....and everyone inside is wearing masks anytime I've gone!!
Thank you for the question and the answer. Let me clarify... We do have samples of hematite (tumbled, beads, pendants) but no hematite rings. Unfortunately, we do not have moldavite
Thank you for your question and thank you for the answers. Let me clarify...we used to carry tumblers and the supplies. Currently we carry rough rock for tumbling and some grit but unfortunately we no longer stock the machines.
I'm not sure that they do jewelry repair or resting beaded necklaces - they are more of a supplier.
I THINK they do. There is a HUGE collection of everything rock related! Beautiful assortment.
Oh they come and go...If you have not been then treat yourself...get to know owners + get on mail list...they can procure almost anything
They have multiple types of wire wrap and multiple gauges.
Not sure but you can buy equipment to cut them. You may want to contact the Dallas Mineral Society. They probably have some hobbyists that could help you out.
In the past there have been employees who were teachers who are teachers...You might ask them via phone email or walk in. Another option if you have access to YouTube man oh man it's going to blow your mind the options not only for learning about cabachons but...just about everything. Something new each day.
They have a somewhat limited selection of Swarovski beads and components. Bicones and round beads in a couple of sizes and some basic colors, some pearls, etc.
