This is a place where they collect donations to distribute to places like food pantries, or churches. Not to go directly to them and get some food or other kind of help.
This is the place that received truck's full of food and the food is sorted placed in boxes palletized so they can be send it to organizations that distribute to peoples, this is really a warehouse
Go to north texas food bank. They will provide food to you guys. Vayan al NTFB ellos les daran comida.
Ok has anybody with whole foods
Yes, go online to confirm with ntfb. Volunteers have an age limit of 14 I believe. You can confirm both age and schedule online.
I THINK YOU SHOULD CALL THEM. GOOGLE THE NAME AND HOPEFULLY, THEY'LL GIVE YOU THE INFORMATION NEEDED.
Any size is acceptable
NTFB is a distribution center only. They give food to other agencies and organizations so they can give out to the community. However, they themselves do not serve people directly unless doing a mobile distribution and they do not provide shelter.
Absolutely! Just go to ntfb.org and click "Volunteer" at the top of the screen and follow the instructions there to create an account and sign up for a variety of volunteer opportunities. Your hours will be tracked at this same site and will update automatically upon completion of your service.
NTFB doesn't have a PO Box number. You can mail things to the main address 3677 Mapleshade Ln. Plano, TX 75075

Give.ntfb.org
According to Charity Navigator, 94.6% of the NTFB's total expenses are spent on their programs. Not all of the food that is distributed through their programs is purchased. So, to answer your question specifically you may want to contact their office. https://www.charitynavigator.org/index.cfm?bay=search.summary&orgid=4240
You just need to go to their website and sign up as a volunteer
Call and ask but I would give to a nursing home first
The below website mentions that they accept food. https://www.ntfb.org/contact
An organized food drive is easiest to work with (especially if the amount of items is somewhat substantial and a pickup would be necessary) but donations from individuals are accepted. Be sure to check for expired products and dented cans as they can't be used and disposing of them creates extra work for the volunteers.
Try the Baptist Church in Mesquite it's located behind Target go around to the back side of the church I don't know what the name of it is sorry if you live in Crandall there's a Crandall food most cities have some sort of food bank contact the city you're living in and you'll probably have to provide a bill of some sort even if it's a hand-written receipt from your lease whoever you lease your place Ramen if you're staying with somebody get them to write something out keep trying though it's a tough World out here
Tuscan Slice, Doves Nest, or Vault Smokehouse
Non perishable foods for donations
No bills. Just food in different sites locations.
No I believe they only supply the community food shelters like the CHAI MILLER HOUSE 3140/3142 ROYAL LANE DALLAS, TX 75230
If we are open today. Meals are free through affiliated agencies in different areas of our city. Donations are accepted in our warehouse and food distribution is handled.
There is plenty of parking! Just make sure you enter at the truck entrance located in the far east end of the building. That is where you can find truck parking.
Go to salvation army on jefferson
Your bills your lease on ur home/apartment car payment if you have one and a bank statement but they still send you to 211 to go to churches
Public bus. Go to salvation army. North Texas doesn't give food on premises.
I was there to help loading the foods in the boxes before Christmas. Enjoyed what I was doing. Now I live in May, Texas and do some volunteer at Good Samaritan Ministries Good Pastry in Brownwood, Texas.
Well, according to the broker, there is parking here, but when I arrived the gates were closed...
I went there you have to go to another food bank they only distribute to other food banks
Sometimes a food bank will have some boxes from receiving supplies but they don't last long. If you head to a local grocery store or warehouse store such as Sam's club, Wal-Mart, Dollar General, etc, they usually have extra broken down boxes that they need to get rid of and will be willing to give you some.
