Had a last minute need for 1 night boarding. My pup came back healthy and generally clean… he had an accident which he hasn’t had in 2.5 years but whatever i understand. I asked for the prong collar to come off him so he isnt kenneled with it on.. called staff they just said they would relay it to the back house.. but at first didn't know what i was even talking about so i explained “its a metal collar with points into the neck” they said okay we will let them know and i still felt like they could've maybe put me on hold and confirmed that they relayed the message.. but that could just be me being picky/over reactive. Picked up my dog and prong collar was on didn't think anything of it assuming they just put it on for me. I take it off and the markings on his fur/skin say otherwise now i don’t know if someone maybe used it on him to walk him and just hurt him/used it incorrectly that lead to marks but my dog is not a strong puller and can be put into heel easily so i really dont see why they would need to use it roughly aside from a pop of leash to redirect him?? Or if it was just left on all night.. Thankfully no open wounds and it was minor but i do feel when a dog is in a kennel the last thing that should be around their neck is a PRONG COLLAR!! Either way im not 100% pleased with my first experience here and i don't think ill give it another go. I really hope this was just a complete accident since i understand that a facility has many dogs and they could’ve maybe forgot. Just happy my dog came back home to me! Those stories of collars being caught on things are real and scary!!

This place is lacking in some areas. For one, the website says they offer things and when you get there, they inform you that they don't offer that at this location. Like, cameras in the "VIP" room. Which is just a small room with a TV. I was happy he'd have his own space, but the camera access was my main reason for booking VIP, especially at the price point. Then, when I picked up my dog, he was sick with stomach issues and had to be taken to the vet the next day. Had to have blood tests done (which is very expensive) to find out he had an infection, and when I went to ask what they had fed him over the last few days, there was no accountability whatsoever. I'm assuming there's no one documenting feeding sessions. There was a lot of "he SHOULD'VE", or "he PROBABLY". I want to know what he ate for certain, not probably! My dog was supposed to be given "dog ice cream" because it came with the "VIP" room, but they couldn't confirm nor deny that he had been given it. This is my dogs second time here and we unfortunately had issues both times. Wanted to love this place but I'm afraid we will be going elsewhere next time we need to board him. Maybe even just another Pet Paradise location. They have very nice people working here tho..

I saw online an offer for free daycare session for my dog so I decided to give Pet Paradise a try. I dropped him off at 9 am thinking I would only have to pick him up at 5 pm. I happened to look at the daycare cameras -yes my dog is still in puppy stage and still has bad habit of jumping on people at times and he may require more attn compared to older dogs, but at no point on camera did I see Cooper being aggressive or acting up with another dog. All of a sudden I see Cooper put in timeout for over 10+ minutes?! For what reason? For jumping? I wanted Cooper to have a fun day socializing and playing with other dogs because he enjoys it so much-instead i have to see him barking nonstop in timeout because he’s unhappy. I will never bring my dog here again! I am glad I found another daycare that he absolutely loves!

2016-2020 Great experience. I went back after the COVID hysteria -- the ease of booking and service & staff was not the same. I've not been back.
