After 9 years in the same 1 bedroom apartment in Meridian, my rent was going to increase by 275 dollars to 995 per month. This was an apartment with old brown carpet, yellow sinks from the 70s, old metal framed windows, street parking and a yellow push button stove from the 1950s. Also, no laundry onsite or dishwasher. I found a great apartment with Auld Investments for 200 less with everything that my last place did not have. I never received any official notice and had to find out by going down there in person months after my lease had expired. I understand it was the owner's decision but letting me know ASAP would have been helpful.
Repair Tactics
Absolutely terrible place to rent from. Don't let Jason fool you, his incompetent maintenance team along with the unprofessional way he conducts himself when he's in the wrong is glaring. Beyond reprehensible behavior, I feel bad for his employees, his tenants and anyone who does business with him. Im 30 and never had any issues renting, any problems with any landlords. They do not care for the property, they do not keep up yard care with any property that isn't by their office. The maintenance is sub par at best. I laugh at their inability to complete a task as simple as a screen door spring... There's a reason there rating is so low and they don't respond to comments. It could be used against them in court which is a big part of their business plan. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM IF YOU WANT TO KEEP A GOOD RENTAL HISTORY.

I love my 'home'! I've been a tenant of a properly managed by Boise Property Management for more than a year. In general, my experience with them has been pleasant. The choice for my rating, and remark of "In general", is merely due to my common challenge of, making contact with the office and/or receiving timely responses. (For reference, my rental is "off-site" from the office. So convenient communication is via phone or email.)
