Good Apple Taphouse
One of our favorite local breweries. We were lucky enough to catch Beth (owner) behind the bar. Great conversation and had the opportunity to taste some tasty beers!

My boyfriend and I just moved to Idaho a couple days ago and found this brewery in our neighborhood. The owner, Beth was bartending and she could not have been nicer. She let us pick FRESH hops off of a vine she had just picked that morning and add it to our beer, which I have never seen before. Incredible! The beer was some of the best I’ve had in Idaho so far. Beth has 2 gluten free beers that for once aren’t ciders or seltzers. (I have a gluten allergy so this was very exciting for me). It was a super friendly and inviting environment and she even has water bowls for dogs on the patio so we can sit outside with our pups! We will be back all the time!

They can also fill up a 64 oz growler, as well as other appropriate containers. They also have some for purchase. Rockin BBQ is also also the onsite kitchen. Veteran owned & operated & philanthropic. Go visit the bathroom. Super cool. Odd to hear but true. Cheers!
Every time I've gone on the weekend, beginning with Friday night after work, there's been a food truck. The awesome thing about Bear Island is that they're always looking to give back to the community, in a number of different ways. One of those is by hosting a variety of food trucks during busy hours. If you have any reservations about checking them out, don't. And if onsite food is a requirement for you, check them out on Friday evenings. I can confirm every Friday night I've gone, they have a delicious food truck waiting in their outdoor area.
They currently have bottles of Idaho Potato Ale available at the taproom.
