I'm not sure they can come to you, but you can go to them if you'd rather have in-person conversations vs phone or text. It's free for 24 hours, you can just go anytime. They are very caring and nonjudgmental.

Are there right and wrong things to say to a person who you think may be contemplating suicide?

Yes. The wrong things are anything that would make them feel (more) guilt, shame, or pain. The right things are like, I'm here for you, I love you, what can I do (and then DO it), you deserve to feel better, etc. Good luck.
