Not exactly the cream-of-the-crop therapists. You really need to poke and prod them for deeper help. You’ll be met with answers such as, “All your negative associations will go away on their own,” or “I don’t have an answer that’ll make everything better.” It’s like they just want to cruise to retirement age without working with clients to make themselves better therapists. I ask for legit coping mechanisms to try, and I get met with lazy answers. Therapy is about experimenting with methods that could help. It’s obviously not about giving a magical answer. It’s really sad that this is what’s readily available to people on Medicaid and Medicare.

Very unprofessional, Called the operator and no answer but transfer to the next person. Whoever is picking up that phone sounds very miserable.
