Actively s*icidal and finally got a psychiatrist to recommend me for ECT,. They told me "oh just call to schedule!" so I call probably like 5 different lines at the corresponding hospital to get through to someone who has NO idea what ECT is and tells me someone at Penn will need to call. So I wait 2 more weeks for the doctor to schedule with the hospital. Then some nurse says Penn Foundation isn't a part of St. Lukes and cancels an HOUR before a literal life saving procedure. And Penn foundation refuses to reschedule with me. They called back 2 weeks ago and said "don't worry, we'll get this sorted" and it's been radio silence. Nothing. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR OVER 2 MONTHS. This is on top of very basic psychiatry (by someone who refuted my OCD diagnosis within our first meeting and RX'd me brain-shrinking antipsychotics which I had a allergic reaction to). This place LOVES to push meds, not follow through in the slightest with ECT, and has overworked and understaffed "professionals" who never EVER pick up the phone and yell at you, have an attitude, and cut you off constantly. Also- they have a "system" of FORCING you to leave a voicemail so they can call you back anywhere from 1 day to 1 week later, or in many cases, NEVER! Way to go! Terrible. Also had therapy here with one good therapist who left a week after I met her, and another who constantly would blame me for my pain in life and when I struggled to cope would blame me some more for being too depressed to follow through with coping strategies that took more effort than they were ever worth. Additionally, they force patients to keep consistent psychiatry appointments to prescribe meds or other treatments.

I went here as a child and a couple years ago. Staff is very nice and it's a nice place. But health insurance card was a problem and somewhat unorganized. This place is alright.

I wish i could give no stars. i’ve been waiting for 6 months for a therapy appointment,i went through the intake process after having to wait for such a long time to even get that set up. i was told i’d get a call the same day to schedule therapy and i never got the call it’s been almost a week now. please if you have a choice go somewhere else,i called for months and they never once picked up the phone. i’m not being dramatic or overreacting they seriously never once picked up the phone. what do people have to do to be take seriously here i’m not sure! my mother got through to someone and i don’t have a therapy appointment until later next month how helpful NOTT. an adult should be able to make their own appointment and be able to get through to someone.they really give you the run around here.

I went to this rehab feeling really lost, I went for 30 days. I told them I couldn't go to. A long term rehab. After my 30 days because of school and my daughter. They then discharged me early. Drove me back to the city I'm from yet some how my probation officer was notified that I ran away from the facility. The therapist I saw refused to give me my completion certificate and treated me like I was scum. The food was good and the patients were okay as well. Even though the one counselor treated me badly the rest of the counselors were great. It also helped that they had a sand volleyball court, a basketball court and smoking on the premises.

Hi Carrie. For your safety, our doctors will not prescribe a medication without completing an evaluation first. You would need to schedule an appointment first to ensure that the medication you are requesting is appropriate. To schedule an appointment, call 215-257-6551. Thank you.

The Penn Foundation has a great mental health program. I have been seeing a therapist and a psychiatrist for a while now and it has helped tremendously.
MAT includes Suboxone, vivitrol, naltrexone at penn foundation. I go there.

Yes. In designated areas and at designated times. It's a great place for those looking for a new path.
If someone is going through detox there is generally a 5 day blackout period, but can vary depending on the person. Patients get 2 calls a week and visits for family and friends are Sundays from 1-3. Best of luck to your friend.
I'm not new though but they didnt give me any options for existing clients to set up an appointment
If your family is experiencing a crisis, you can call to speak to a crisis worker or go to an emergency room. The therapists are not usually available on off hours.
You can drop something off for clients that live in the Village of Hope homes or for clients who are in the inpatient unit in our Recovery Center (substance abuse treatment center) at 807 Lawn Avenue, Sellersville.
Everyone being considered for suboxone must be engaged in tx. Our open access is the way to be assessed. Once engaged in tx, then our staff works with the client and our psych doc to see if the person is appropriate for the program. Hope this helps
We accept most insurances. We take Keystone East, Aetna, Medicare, Medical Assistance, and many others. If someone does not have insurance they can apply for county funding, if they reside in either Bucks or Montgomery County.
