I have been coming to LFCC for years now and I have to say that I never really got the closeness to Christ before coming to LFCC. Pastor Ed helped me understand the teachings better in laymen’s terms, history, geography and events of the times than I had ever understood before. Years ago I encouraged my father to come with us to church even though he didn’t want to go. My dad is a hard core Marine thinking in his own way how he connects with God. This is fine I’m not judging him but I thought it would be nice to go together while he was visiting. As usual my dad walked in to church with a scowl on his face looking serious and unapproachable. He shook hands firmly and mechanically. By the end of the service as we left my dad had a smile on his face, a relaxation in his step couldn’t wait to meet Pastor Ed (he called him the Little Padre), he warmly shook Pastor Ed’s hand thanked him for allowing him to attend our church and HUGGED Pastor Ed ! Ever since then when my Dad visits he loves attending our “Church of What’s Happening Now” Miracles Do Happen LOL 😝

Best church in LI! Pastor Gregg & Joyce will be missed--but there are still great people there to fellowship with and teach the word. These church members love Jesus and will love you too!

From all appearances a great church (great Pastor, great worship). However, maybe it's due to its size, for me it lacked depth of interest/concern and a personal touch. During my time at this church I felt more like an orphan/outsider then part of a family as I should.

Checking out local churches, looking for a church to call mine. Well, that was in 2011. Good teaching from Godly pastors, elders and folks who are true believers and doers of the word. Lot of small groups , youth groups and other church activities available to become apart of to meet folks. I checked out the app to hear a sermon, choir concerts and weekly events. Friendly down to earth folks from the parking lot attendants to Pastor Ed.
