Looking to switch from Schools First credit union after about 25 yrs. Went to the Arrowhead branch on Foothill. Stood and waited a few minutes and woman approached then asked if I need help. Said I might want to open an account but I have questions. She a few others went into the back had a conversation. A young lady came out told a couple of customers how long they would have to wait and that they would help me "now." At this point I was sure i would have to come back and that was ok. The woman that first approached me and said "you have a question?" My reply was i have several questions. I explained that I was looking to leave Schools First after 25 yrs. My purpose in coming to Arrowhead was to vet them. I did not want to step into the same mess I was looking to leave. It did not go over well. I got few fees, min deposit ($25) and where do I live and does it match what my drivers license shows. I was told that i would have to make an appointment and all the information online. I didn't get it all because i was already walking away. So the two stars. Kinda generous when you considered what happened. I am looking to open three accounts, myself, wife, and son. I have two cds ($48k) that will be up to reinvest in October and I have another $20k in checking/savings. Am I going to place it with an institution that can not see beyond themselves? Not a chance. Arrowhead has one of the same issues as Schools First. Once you go above basic checking and savings the are out of there league. Both are most likely competent with auto loans (I have had a standing $50-60k auto loan with schools for 20 yrs that i never applied for) but i would cautious. If checking and savings is all that you need Arrowhead is probably a good choice.

I sat through being on hold for an hour and a half and then it disconnected me. Horrible online banking. Change your system and make it impossible. Can’t wait until I don’t need to deal with this bank again

Do not transact any auto sales transactions with Arrowhead C U. You won't be able a copy of transactions with your personal signature,you will be put on hold for 35 minutes ,for them to tell you you have tentative DMV.
