The address I was given (1115 Bates Ave), which is near this location, doesn't seem correct via Google Maps. I am trying to pick up a reimbursement check from the city after hitting a pothole nearly 8 months ago. They will email me with no other information except telling me to call them because they can't call me due to a call blocker or something, and they are trying from multiple different phones and etc. Then I call them and they are never available, so they email again telling me to call them. How about... EMAILING ME THE INFORMATION YOU WANT TO TELL ME?! Is this 1935? Would you like to send me a telegram that tells me to send you a carrier pigeon that tells you to meet me at the park in your horse and buggy? Or is this them trying to avoid having a FOIA accessible paper trail?... That's exactly the reason I PREFER everything to be in writing via email... Can't wait to go pick up the check and have them tell me they can't write it because they haven't received their new writing quills yet.
