We stayed here after our wedding, we got back very late and started unloading the car to bring things up to the room. When we came back down for our second trip, we noticed all of the cards from our guests were gone. Someone had broken into the locked car and stole them. We parked directly in front of a camera but the front desk would not allow us to look at the video and claimed they couldn't view it without the police present. We waited a couple hours for the police to get there and the video cameras were so bad they couldn't make out any identifying features of the person that broke in. The front desk person told me it was the first time this had ever happened but the police said this type of thing happens ALL THE TIME here and that they are very close with the managers because of how often they have to show up and do this. Get new cameras. Invest in security. Kick people out of the lot that are just loitering. You know this happens all the time, take some preventative measures to keep your guests safe or take some responsibility. If you need to stay in Schenectady, spend the extra money and stay literally anywhere else.

Michelle the front desk clerk was amazing. The rooms were very clean, the beds were firm, and the pillows were very soft. I love the fact that they have a fire pit outside that you can go to and relax. The gym was also a bonus. I will definitely be staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Schenectady NY again.

Everything was fine until checkout. I was staying here for six nights and called the front desk on my last night to ask for a late checkout. He said I could check out at 1:00, which was great. This morning I had housekeeping knocking on my door at 11 AM, then again at noon. At 12:19 I had a call from the front desk asking how much more time I needed. I told him that I called the night before and was told I could have until 1:00. He said he didn’t have that on his sheet and could give me until 12:30. What kind of customer service is this? Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

I stayed 5 nights and on night 2 the entire 2nd floor smelled like pot. Night 3 was exactly the same smell. Other than that, the stay was very enjoyable.

I cannot figure out why anyone would care about how many rooms exists in a hotel ? Are you looking for availability? Maybe you're looking to buy the place? Maybe you have a whole bunch of people visiting? I hate answering a question with a question so I apologize. It would be great if you could rephrase your question and maybe I would have a better answer. Cheers.

When I was there in October, reserved a non-complementary breakfast. It was ok.
