This was our first visit to Arcadian Comics & Games and the area of Newport in general. For being a "hole in the wall" type of place, they have a really nice selection of comics, manga, and graphic novels. The two employees there greeted us and sparked conversation about various graphic novels that my husband and I enjoy. They were super sweet and clearly invested in what they do, which is awesome! They have quite a few nice collector's editions of various graphic novels (Berserk, Usagi, etc.). They also had memorabilia/gift items (magnets, posters, etc.). Overall, I really liked the store and only wish there was easier parking (all of Newport has this problem, however!). We will come back when we're in the area.

We are currently asking everyone to wear a mask inside the shop. Try to respect a safe distance from other customers, and we are also limiting the number of guests inside the shop to 10. There are friends and family that have auto-immune diseases, and these concerns motivate how we handle daily operations.

Even if you can find them somewhere else, do the economy a favor and shop small(here). There is so much heart and soul poured into this shop. And you wont find a shop more dedicated to each individual who walks into their store and first time customers are treated just like people who have shopped with them for years.
Generally we will make an offer on all comics. That said, it may reflect demand, and our inventory, and could be as low at ten cents apiece. However, we do pay more for comics we can use, and resell. It's always best to come in and see.
