This is a hidden gem in cincinnati! I was there on a marketing adventure but I got to enjoy the spirit of those who are employed and obviously love the atmosphere! Wonderful experience! 5 star is lacking knowledge behind the counter. That's it.

Totally awesome. The hours involved are enormous.

The place was wonderful when I visited for my 21st birthday. Really inspiring and got me really excited to build my own layout at home. The scale of the model railway is awe-inspiring just due to its massive size and attention to detail. And the prices on the models they sell at the hobby store aren’t half bad, either.

OMG! Great fun spot for family. We visited while in town for a wedding. We (9 of us) all had fun and great pictures with the kids happy faces. Definitely recommend!

Check Groupon, that is where we find tickets.
There is no fee to enter the building to check it out and ask questions or visit the cafè. However you will have to pay to see the exhibits "the amazing fun house" and then the "train journey".
I was there the last week of February w/ grandson & daughter. There were a few other parents w/ children and a group of disabled children with their care givers. In the activity area all the children, about 20, appeared to have plenty to do. I didn't see any of them fighting over any thing. The ones playing with the wooden trains seemed to shave but would tend to walk around holding on to one till something else caught their attention. Then they would leave it where ever they were. If there's a lot of children in the play area loose items will get scattered around. All I know during my visit all the children seemed to be enjoying themselves.
They also have a huge open seating area that you don't have to book ahead of time. Your group could easily fit there if you don't need a private room.
Yes Lots of space
If i remember correctly they are currently looking for someone to work on the HO scale trains.
Basic closer to $15 for just the train display. If you don't care to ride the 5 minute miniature train adjacent to the freeway it's the $+8.96
My 15 year old son enjoy the gravitational pull room the fortune teller and the maze All are entertaining to All ages!

There is an outdoor train ride, weather dependent. There is also an indoor play area and large climbing thing.
