Not sure why this place is only 1 star.? This motel is one of the cleanest and non stinky in rooms I’ve been too. The family that owns the motel is very smart , nice. And good to hold a conversation with, most owners are rude and all about the money and all the while have disgusting rooms. I he motel from what I could see is in process of getting painted and fixing the outer of the motel. For what’s it’s worth I think that motel 6 on curry rd is a nice place to stay and to stay with kids . There isn’t many you can actually have or want to have your children at . You can’t please the unpleaseable though.. great motel great service And clean everything that’s what matters..

This hotel is very not like it says or shows in the picture, I had to get out in the middle of the night due to lack of cleanness and the strong odor of tabaco the bathroom soo disgusting show the front desk the pictures I took there and still didn’t offer an apologize he was angry because I told Expedia it was not the reality of their photos on the wedsite.. very bad please don’t go there even their pillows are Yellowish and it looks like they have bedbugs

Bring a gun for under your pillow if you plan on sleeping at all. Hands down the most uneasy I have ever felt while staying at this motel. I had to endure hearing my neighbor beating his girlfriend all night, even after calling the cops for help they never even showed up. What great service Schenectady PD, nobody can say that you're not not lazy.

After a long drive to the Albany area I looked around for the least expensive room for the night. I ended up here at the motel 6 in Schenectady. The people at the front desk were very friendly and very helpful. I asked borrow a charging brick and they gave me one no charge. Unfortunately while the room was safe and quiet it lacked in the housekeeping department. The toilet was clean and the sink was clean but there are hairs in the tub and on the countertop a cobwebs in the ceiling. There was also black mold in the sheetrock wall adjacent to the bed. This facility needs a major overhaul. I would stay here again but I'd be more careful about which room I chose to be in. Good luck. By the way, the room cost $69 with all fees and taxes included. By far the cheapest room and a greater Albany area from what I can tell.
