So my laptop had a liquid spill on it. They said they would diagnose the issue and fix it. First I kept calling them every 2 weeks and they would tell me they'd be done fixing it by 'Friday'. That continued on for 3 months. They also told me that I can pay for the parts so that they can order it immediately which I did - around 500. I told them to let me know the total cost prior to fixing it because I can't afford a higher rate. I was satisfied with the rate, and they gave it back to me 'fixed'. After testing it for 2 days, the screen would randomly turn black. I called the guy and he said that thats because the screen is not working now and it'll cost an extra 500. Im super annoyed because I wasn't told the entire price and correct diagnosis initially. Now I have a half working laptop that I wasted my money to fix + wasting my time

I was a doctoral student in crisis with an incomplete thesis. My computer would not turn on for any reason, I tried ALL of the hacks you could find online. I went to Micro Center and they told me it would be a 21-day wait until they could run a diagnostic and told me that I had an issue with my (Mac) power board. He told me that I could take it to a third party but to "beware because they do not have the tech we have." Well, C proved them wrong and saved the day. He was able to diagnose my issue within 15 minutes and had run and full diagnostic and repair within 60 minutes. He was friendly, professional, provided full education on the issue, and gave me advice to keep my device running most optimally. 10/10 to C, who saved this student from crying all day. I could not recommend Tech Shield Computer Repair more!! p.s. if there are any students out there reading this, this is your reminder to back up your data! don't be like me.

Absolutely terrible service. Had to hound the guy working to get his him to fix the computer. Constant delays even after he received the part (was supposed to be ready yesterday, couldn’t pick it up went in today he hadn’t even started the repair, told me to come back in half an hour, 45 minutes later still waiting). Do not ever go here.
