The experience we had before was very good, about 3 years ago. Now I wouldn’t go here for free food. The owners have gone through many staff, (mostly teens) and what we have been told about the back of the house is disgusting. The owners unfortunately scream and yell at the staff, don’t pay some of them on time or correctly and are just mean. I do not think there is anymore people left to hire because they have been through so many. We even warned one mother not to let her kid work there but she did. 2 weeks later her son quit because he couldn’t take the screaming anymore. So sorry that COVID hurt these restaurants but it doesn’t give owners the green light to treat staff like animals. You have been warned, stay away!!!! Wow what a surprise, another employee fired or quit!!👎

Where do I begin? Don't go to this restaurant. This restaurant has a high employee turn over. Employees aren't paid what they're owed. The owner mistreats her employees as well as customers when they have a complaint. I have heard her yelling at her staff and customers. The food is over priced and bad. One of the staff members likes to put her fingers in your food. Don't expect great food or good service. Will never eat there again. The employee that you removed is faults. She quit after working for you for 10 years at the restaurant not including your house.

My friends took me for my birthday and I had the pot roast dinner. It was the best one I have had in years and the amount was impressive too. I also had the blueberry cream pie which was amazing..Thank you so much for your great service and awesome food that made my birthday more special.

What a diamond in the rough. The Blue Canoe is a super amazing restaurant with tons of character. It's located on Tuscarora Lake and it has a great view from anywhere you sit. The wait staff was very polite and quick with our orders. You definitely need to try their Chicken Riggies. They were amazing! Jess said the Chicken Parm was as well. We will definitely be going back, only with some friends and family next time.

Yes. Unload your yaks, walk down the grassy side of the restaurant to the left of pier behind restaurant. There is a goose gate there, you can open and close it so the geese "won't" get on the lawn. Park your vehicle across the road in the parking lot so you aren't hogging a space while you are yakking!! Make sure to get the eggplant fries!!!
