Came here for lunch with a co worker while driving through town. I usually get the turkey club sandwich when I eat at other Black Bear diners, but this time I decided to get the patty melt. The patty melt was semi burned, but I didn't want to turn it back in because I had waited a long time to get it. As for the service, it was exceptional and the only reason why this visit got 3 stars and not 1. Our server was very patient and kept checking in on us even though I could tell she was overwhelmed.

The absolute worst experience I've ever had at any restaurant, 5 people dining, one ordered eggs benedict, and it came out made with bacon, (eggs benedict is made with Canadian bacon or ham), one had a patty melt, that was black from being burned, another had a taco salad that was also burned, we should have taken the clue that the place was practically empty during lunch.. waitress was good, but apparently they need a better cook...

Our waitress Ashley Nichole was the best waitress ever. She was always there when we needed something which doesn’t happen in a lot of restaurants 😩 she was friendly and kind 👍
