I wish I had a more positive review to give this place. It is beautiful, but the trails at certain points are very poorly marked. Somehow we ended up on a pathway, marked as a trail that wasn't actually a trail. The scenic overviews are also not very well marked.

This is a GORGEOUS hiking are, but the trails are not marked well at all. A lot of people were wondering asking where to go, my son and I included.

Ok, so i plan to propose to my girlfriend tomorrow. Im thinking here for a picnic would be a good spot to do it! Is there any spots that we could lay on a blanket and have a picnic and i can propose to her? Never been here before.

Great idea. Hike to the top, beautiful view of watergap and NJ on a clear day. Look at trail map by bathroom to give you good idea of area.

If going north on milford rd, turn onto the road with the sign leading to the golf course, then the parking lot is up the gravel rd on the right.
