Are there paved paths for biking?

It's mostly hard gravel, and is good for biking except for the road bikes with narrow tires

We are hiking on the McDade trail in July and we are beginners. Any bears, you think? Is this trail for beginnners? Thank You

Aside from southern most part it is mostly flat. It is good for beginners. I saw a young black bear a few years ago and he took off when he spotted me. I would not be concerned about bears.
