They never pick up the phone. The service is great when you get there. The Patient Advocates are excellent But they are much better than Lyons VA hospital

All of the staff is caring and treated my dad with respect. Alice in audiology is a joy to work with and takes time to teach me on how to help my dad with his hearing aids. Dad is 99 yo and needs more care. They have accommodated all of his needs.

All in all this VA is pretty five star out of five star in terms of veteran assistance and attitudes towards veterans. I have not yet once had a complaint and I've been going here for five maybe six years. The next closest VA that I've been to would be the one up in Wilkes-Barre other than that the Philadelphia and Coatesville are pretty much mediocre.

Primary care is a joke. Women are second class. You have to fight for anything you need and sometimes it's just easier to seek help elsewhere despite the financial hit.

Primary Care, Mental Health, vascular surgeon for consults, optometry,. Lab until 10:45.
If your qualified for it yes they will pay and provide it same with eye care but if you don't qualify for ie. Service connected disability with enough percentage they won't cover it. Hope that helps.

I usually have an appt. They do have the clinic not sure how that works since covid. Just saw the question now. You can call to find out too.
Saturday they are giving covid vaccines until four pm or you can call and set an appointment

Call the Wilkes Barre VA's main number and tell the operator you need to speak to Allentown Audiology. They will probably not say anything and just transfer you to Allentown. If you get an Allentown operator, tell them exactly what you need. Allentown VA operators are extremely nice and very knowledgeable and helpful. Good luck.
All Veterans are entitled to health care. You must show a copy of your DD214 and go from there.
There is no hr at this place. Wilkes-Barre perhaps? If you are an employee that is where you would go. If you're a Vet and are looking for something else look for the patient representative. They are hard to find but they exist
