Nice to see a clean coal plant firing n with zero soot or smoke at all going into the sky. All I ever see is some steam.

Obnoxious and intrusive. Noise level, especially with low cloud cover, rainy and snowy days is intolerable. Citizens who have been here in Archbald for many years have no recourse to redesign this very greedy, business minded neighbor. A redesign or relocation is the only answer. Light pollution at night, noise when in operation, and spewing of who knows what? Daily publications should be forthcoming...after all, we have to breathe emissions. Hellish view at night. Droning jet-like, disturbing noise when running. This plant destroyed the peace and pleasant views we had. An atrocity.

Getting a headache while I get near it. Can see the clouds coming off of it miles away.

Questions & Answers

It is 11:30 p.m. and I am trying to sleep. That Invenergy plant drones on through my closed bedroom window. I check outside, again, thinking that the sound is a circling jet in trouble, but no, it is again intrusive, obnoxious Invenergy exhaust.

I know this is two years old, but you should look into writing, if you haven't already. This is quality.

What is the cost to us, our quality of life, especially on snowy days such as today, breathing the expulsions from Invenergy, hearing excessively loud jet-like noise instead of a peaceful snowfall, trying to sleep through the light pollution?

It's the traffic on Rt.6 that you are hearing NOT the power plant.

How many reported health concern issues have been made since the plant opened? Are these concerns being tracked? In other words, is the plant accountable for health issues?

There is no health concerns. What comes out the smoke stack is steam and that's all. This place is state of the art and brought jobs and money to the area.
