I don't like BJ's, my husband got us the membership primarily because of how much gas he fills for his business. Every now and then he'll go in to shop, but I always remind him that the quality of things at BJ's is typically terrible and returns are difficult. He convinced me a few weeks ago of buying two leather recliners that he liked, I hesitated but said okay. He brought them home and they were both damaged. I called the store the next morning, less than 24 hours after and spoke to a Michelle who said I should call back the next day to speak to Michael. I spoke to Michael the next day (Friday morning) and he said he would call me back before the end of the day Saturday. Fast forward to a week later, I called again to talk to Michael since I never heard back and ended up speaking to an assistant manager who said Michael will call me back tomorrow when he is in. It has been 10 days since then, and still heard nothing. I will no longer follow up, and have to live with my mistake of wasting money there. Shame on us for buying furniture from BJ's, we knew better all along but made a mistake. If you want decent customer service and are looking for quality products, whether it's food or furniture, go ANYWHERE else. The torrington BJ's seems exceptionally terrible, when I originally thought that the Southington BJ's was bad...

Its a great store with all the home living things (Food, electronics, books, etc.). Though you do need a mebership, its well worth it if you like shopping! 10/10!

I try not to rate and review businesses based on the mistakes they make, but rather how they choose to fix them. I am still waiting on a call back from their corporate office, and will update this review as-needed. The BJ's in Torrington seems to lack any sort of cohesive management or proper protocol. I believe their staff is significantly under-trained by their managers, which is what led to this review. I visited BJ's on 8/18 after my wife had mentioned they had a Charbroil gas grill on-sale for only $175, down from the sticker price of $497 (item #277725 for anyone that interested). Upon arriving I quickly located the floor model (in the attached image), and immediately asked an associate for assistance. They called an associate responsible for this department, and he followed me to the floor model to see if it was their last one. After radioing the back, he confirmed that this was in-fact, the last model. I immediately offered to purchase the floor at the sticker sale price of $175. I was told that I could not purchase the floor model, because there was a shipment of these grills due to come in shortly, and selling the floor would mean they would need to assemble yet another display model—that's fair. He couldn't give me an exact date for the shipment, but I was guaranteed two very important things: 1. if the shipment arrived after the sale-end date of 9/5, they would post-date the price and honor the sale. 2. if for some reason they DID NOT receive a shipment, and the item was no longer being stocked, that I could purchase the floor model AFTER the sale-end period with a 10% discount (which I didn't even care about, as the grill was already amazingly priced). He did tell me to check back that next week and see if they had received the shipment. On 8/23, the following Tuesday, I returned to BJs to check on the status of the shipment. Upon approaching the customer service counter, I noticed the exact floor model with a receipt taped to it. This didn't set us off on the best of feet, and I immediately asked for a manager to explain how this could have happened, as I was explicitly told I could NOT purchase the floor model. Bill (I believe was his name) was very apologetic, but also incredibly inept at explaining how this could have happened. What he said, was that the item had actually been discontinued, and they were NOT expecting a shipment, and therefore the floor model could be purchased (which it had been, by someone else). He was able to locate the grill for me, at the Waterbury location, where it was being sold for $497. He was unable to offer anything to remedy the situation, and was puzzled as to why one of his associates would have told me otherwise. My theory is that someone either doesn't understand the store policy on selling floor models, OR, that one of their employees purchased the grill—the receipt mentioned a staff purchase, wish I had photographed that—after telling me that I couldn't. It was after-all, a pretty fantastic deal. Regardless, I cannot recommend this BJ's. Their staff lacks any sort of cohesive understanding of their own company policies, and their manager was both unwilling and unable to correct this mistake.

I purchased an umbrella here for the yard. It was missing the solar panel for the solar lights. I called them. They told me to come in and get one. I am very happy. The product was an extremely good price! It was half the price of the same product at Home Depot! I like BJ's!!

Look o
No
Not sure either, but it's more up to the property owner than the store.
Check their website for pricing. Or call the BJ's closest to you. They'll give you pricing and available tire options.
To be honest, I haven't seen them there. Would suggest Market 32 or Big Y as better, fresher, more made to order
Sorry, no idea
BJs is open on Labor Day 9am-9pm.
