This is an absolutely stunning lake (actually a dam) with a few benches and boating ramp and plenty of nature to enjoy -- always lots of ducks and birds. And yes, we have seen a bald eagle stray over from the nearby Susquehanna River! It's always quiet and peaceful here. People love to bring their dogs. On the far side of the lake is a very nice picnic area with tables.

Yesterday i went to the boat ramp side and tried the fishing out there and no bites but i noticed about 4 or 5 paddle boats just sitting there... Are they free to use (i would love to be able to use one) or does somebody own them?

They are owned privately. You can store your boat out there during a certain time period during the warmer months, but they are not for public use

Boat launch and job Johnny are on one side of the lake and picnic area with brick outhouses on the other side
