We were drawn in by how new everything looked. The apartments are nice, but VERY overpriced. When you get inside, it’s quite apparent that there were a lot of shortcuts taken in building and furnishing the apartments, all the way down to poorly cut door and floor trim. Apartment was not ready when we moved in, had to call maintenance to have our blinds installed on windows and get a pull cord for the ceiling fan. Guest bathroom shower is really awkward to get into, when you step out from the bathtub there’s a real drop of several inches, an older person or someone short could really struggle with it and get hurt. The placement of the furnace/fan in the apartment means if you have the AC running, good luck hearing your television. Appliances are faulty, microwave door doesn’t close properly and the stovetop control doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to, so even on “1” setting it’s burning hot. Guest bedroom is poorly insulated and it costs us a lot to heat and cool. If it’s sunny out, it will be roasting in that room, and if it’s cold, it will be freezing in there. Pet rent is expensive at $65/month per pet, plus several hundred dollar deposit. Gym hasn’t been available since Covid, masks or no. Snow removal this winter was poor. On top of it all, management is pretty much useless. Once we signed our lease, we could never get in touch with them again unless we showed up in person at the office, and then they were rarely helpful. Our shower handle/valve broke and the shower was stuck pumping out hot water out of control and we had to shut off the water main. I called the leasing office to request maintenance. They told me they put me on a list, around 3pm. 6 hours without water later, I called again and got the answering machine for the emergency maintenance line, and the maintenance guy told us nobody from the office let him know about our problem. To his credit, he came straight away and helped us fix it temporarily until he could do a permanent job in the morning with the right parts. I’ve been paying renter’s insurance for a year, and the leasing office has been charging me the $10/month insurance waiver fee anyway despite sending them everything they requested. Final straw was when we had to move to accommodate my girlfriend’s disabled father being evicted from his home. Totally unwilling to come to a compromise on terminating the lease, insisting on 2-months rent as a penalty, even with 2 months of notice that we were planning on leaving. It’s classless, and borderline illegal according to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Leaving this place could not come soon enough. Do yourself a favor and get a mortgage on a home instead of making these people rich.

Rented here for 2 years (Apr 2018 - Apr 2020) and had great a great experience. Apartment was nice, a bit overpriced but with Township 5 in walking distance it was worth it. Never had an issue with management or neighbors. The layout is great since you have your own entry way to each apartment and the complex itself is somewhat small compared to others so its not overcrowded and easy in and out
