Stayed here for 6 days while visiting Cornell University. It's about 10 minutes to the university. The lady gave me an upgrade to a better room which is very nice. It's very close to some restaurants and shops. Super Walmart and Wegmans are few minutes away. It's quiet at night. I would recommend this place if you are here for a visit.

Overnight stop on a long road trip - cheap and convenient to the interstate. Super funky vibe; got the distinct feeling that people live in the rooms. Guests were hanging out on the balcony in lawn chairs. Very friendly staff and basic breakfast. Rooms are clean but not redecorated since 1984, I swear.

Positive: It is conveniently located near supermarkets and the highway, the rooms are affordable, and the staff is nice. Negative: Sometimes, the other guests are inconsiderate because they smoke where they are not supposed to or make too much noise. This has little to do with the hotel itself, which is basically comfortable, clean, and hospitable.

Positive: The bed was very soft; providing me with a wonderfully restful sleep. There was a sweet, handmade card in it, welcoming me to the hotel. That along with the amenities made my stay special. I would go back again just for that bed! Negative: There was one issue worth mentioning: There are signs posted which clearly state that smoking is not allowed in the rooms, but my room did have a smoky odor to it, which detracted from that perfect visit. I could also hear neighbors from inside my room.
