When a representative calls you and doesn't reach you, they leave a message but only provide their first name. However in order to actually reach someone with the number they provide you must have a first and last name to reach the party by extension or an actual extension number. This forces you to actually go in even though you might work or live some distance away. It would be more beneficial for this office To leave the information that is required for follow up In order to provide the most efficient process for everyone involved.

I had a phone call appointment with Jeff of Sept. 19 at 1:45. He called within 5 minutes of appointment time, which was great. Took all the info, all I had to do was take marriage license and divorce papers to the office on 9/21., (Or I could have mailed them). The wait time was probably less than 30 minutes. Everyone from the security officer to the lady at the window who made copies of the papers, to Jeff who took all the info and answered all my question was friendly, helpful and polite. I was really dreading it because of the negative reviews, but my experience was nothing like those reviews. If you need to visit a Social security office, I highly recommend you visit the one on Greens hill road.

I need to schedule an appointment for tomorrow. Can someone schedule a time and email me back Lucile Hobbs
What do I need to get a replacement social security card
Certified marriage license and valid identification. It will update in the system overnight. It takes 7-10 days to get your new card in the mail.
Online or try to walk in to the location and ask for help.
November 2018 It's a 2 1/2 year wait
I'd like yes answers about kola
No I did the same thing had to update my name change, you will get your new on in the mail.
That's a question that you can ask about online or with a phone call.
It depends on why you're going. I went for survivor benefits. They needed divorce papers and marriage certificate to prove we'd been married at least 10 years. Would have needed a death certificate, but the funeral home had already reported it. For most other appointments, I imagine you'd need identification and social security card. I got some info from Google, and some when I called in. Good luck.
The social security office on GreenHills Rd. Is open so you might take them up there.
You don't need a appointment,just walk in.
You can even go without an appointment it is fairly fast .
Check on their website the daily hours. It wasn't busy at all when I went,, around 3:30
You can just walk in and sign in on the Kiosk.
Went in w/o appt. Took abt 10 min Got there 9;15 out by 9:24
Security Officer at the door in March...told me they are looking to open up for in-person visits.
Seeing as it's a phone service center, you don't.
You'll print off the forms and fill them out then take a copy of your marriage license with the papers you filled out an drop it in their drop box. They will mail you back the copy of your marriage license
This location is not a sit-down location. Drop box in entrance
I am not for sure. Call the. Local office and ask
If you have access to the internet I believe you can find an answer to your question and more by going to ssa.gov and creating a "mysocialsecurity" account on that web site. I hope that helps
Go to the Social Security Administration website and they have instructions. Since the office is closed you can only do online or by mail.
Last time i got one replaced, it didn't cost me anything
No, be prepared, it can be very crowded at times.
U have to call them, or just show up
You need to call them to make the appointment
You have to either call in and make an appointment or physically go in to talk to someone
Not that im aware of, i think u have to physically go in
I agree with Jeremy
You can call them at there direct number
You can also go into the office, take a number, and schedule an appointment that way.
You can call them, I think do on line, or just go in get number and wait for a bit. Middle of week is best.
Yes I had to make an appointment for my dad
If you go to the office they can reset it. If you do it by phone, you'll be on there for hours!!
No M-F only
I think you can do that
No appointment needed or you can sign up on line.
Think so. Check online for certain or call.
Not sure you can. Just go in and take a number.
Yes with proper ID
They mail it to you, it takes about a week to get.
Social security appointments are running about 2 or 3 months out ...
Wednesdays 9 -12
Use the online method to make and change appointments. The computers don't put people on hold
About what? Can I help in any way?
They have self help computers to do that online. If you want to speak with someone, they would set you up an appointment
I'm attempting to set an appointment to discuss my social security benefits. I recently accepted a $700 per month reduction in pay to transfer to another agency to continue working. Additionally, I retired about six years ago from an agency that has a qualified pension that didn't contribute to social security. I would like to discuss the impact of the reduction in pay and WEP to my social security benefit.
Yes about a week
You don't need an appointment
No in person
I put my daughter's case worker as the "attention". They say Randy Schroeder is the one responsible for the wages but he refuses to do his job and makes up his own figures for you to where you have to call your case worker to fix the wages. Simply put, its easiet to just attention to your case worker.
Pack a lunch.
