I apologize for the inconvenience caused by having your debit card turned off. The only reason debit cards are shut off by the credit union without an explicit request from the member are for instances of fraud and the MasterCard company will block your card to protect the funds in your account. Please make sure that all of your contact information is up to date in our system since the MasterCard company does try to contact you when potential fraud happens on your account. If you have any other questions please let us know.
They shut my card off because they are issuing new cards with chips. I have the old card that expires 12/19. They turned my card off without sending me a new one and it left me without sleeping in a room for one night. Thiers no excuse to have turned my card off without cause. Thier was no one messing with my account. They clearly dropped the ball and I still don't have my new card as of today.
