This place is absolutely beautiful if you love camping. This used to be a nudist resort but new management is converting it back into a campground but it is absolutely beautiful, come see for yourself.

This park has great potential but.... its very rustic and Marie who runs the office is as sweet as pie. On our arrival she had a beautiful basket made up for us which included our towels, instant coffee with water bottles, cups and a bottle of wine. Although, I would not call it a resort as their only amenities are the pool / hot tub and nature trails and there are several people who reside within the walls of Bell Achres, NONE of them seem to be nudist which we later realized that they were mostly vagabond construction workers in the area. We soon realized this after my fiancé received honks and cat calls from a distant worker as we walked naked up the rustic road back from our nature trail walk. The nature walk.... great concept but it's not maintained at all and was overgrown in places and had SEVERAL HUGE spider webs covereing most of the trail. We couldn't walk more than 10 feet without encountering massive webs stretching across the payhways. We walked 2 out of 3 of the not quite clearly marked trails before we had enough. We cleared at least 100 spiderwebs from the trail and ended up in what seemed to be a residential neighborhood, fully naked... Still not quite sure if this is part of the resort property as there is no clear sinage navigating you through the trails. They have a bar, but we were told it's only open on the weekends, no restaurant, no grills to cook on, no soap in the bathhouse or showers so be sure to bring your own supplies because getting in and out of the park is challenging between the unmanned gate and the rock covered steep included roads. The pool itself looked clean, there were corn hole boards set up at one end but sadly no bags to go with it. They were probably locked up in the now abandoned restaurant adjacent to the pool. The hot tub is covered with an 80's style heavy pool tarp to keep the heat in so if you want to use it you have to uncover and recover it yourself. There is an upper deck overlooking the pool which houses random trashed out grills and decrepit patio furniture giving the pool and hot tub the same unmaintained unwelcoming feel as the trails. The spider infestation continues to the little row of cottages where we stayed. There were spiders covering everything. The underside of the picnic tables, the wood fencing on the decks of the cottages were completely covered, making it impossibility dangerous to stand leisurely, too close to the deck as your "boy" might get wound up in a web with an unwelcome friend. The cottages themselves were covered on the outside with a multitude of different species ranging in size from a dime to a silver dollar giving this park an 8 out of 10 in the heeby-geebies factor. The park has more of a refugee camp feel rather than a nudist resort. Oh yeah, we were the ONLY naked people on property giving us that "On display" feel. We are firm believers that every nudist resort has their own unique qualities and should be explored and we can see the potential in this park if maintained properly and hopefully consider buying a blower to blow all the cobwebs and spiders away from the cottages, bath houses and other common residential areas on a regular basis. It makes the place look deplorable and terrifying at night when all the hidden spiders come out to eat. There were literally hundreds outside our cottge enterance. Everytime, no matter what time of day we used the bathroom in the bathhouse we couldn't wash our hands in the without spiders scrambling away from the water in the sink. One more thing the owners should know, check your fire alarms, ours didn't quite look right so we checked it just for the heck of it and there wasn't even a battery in there. We wish the newest owners of this property the best of luck in the future but I doubt we will return or recommend to our friends.

This place is great for naturists. My girlfriend and I love the huge pool and hot tub. The walking trails are great too! $45 for a day pass is very reasonable and we will definitely be back. The owner is so friendly and welcoming.

It's becoming a regular thing for me. So quiet and relaxing, the phrase "Keep your pants on" never applied here. The pool remodel is complete and looks great. Lots of other improvements are in process. It's nice to see so new faces each weekend.

What happens behind closed doors is fine but it is frowned upon.
In the past well behaved, leashed dogs were allowed. I brought my Lexi for birthday weekend one year. I believe camping is $17 per site plus the day fee. I agree with Sadat, you will enjoy your stay. Have fun.
It is clothing optional. The only time you are required to be without clothes is in the pool and hot tub.
Yes
Last weekend, we had guests with Korean and Malaysian backgrounds as well as a number of non-white members from the USA. We also have a number of gay members who visit regularly and so we would say we our membership is very diverse and open.
Yes we do. On the balcony outside our Hot Tub we have a gas fire pit. Many members sit out there in the evening and enjoy a drink, great company and the beautiful scenery of the trees across Bell Acres.
Sara, yes you can if it is in your own RV and you keep it on a leash when outside and pick up any waste. In our cottages, we prefer no animals but have made some exceptions for small (under 10kg) dogs.
~about 160-200, depending on your choice of accommodation.
