Fazio Course at Barnsley Resort

Save your money!!! Had the unfortunate opportunity to play this course on May 20th. While a superior layout the conditions were far from the pristine conditions I’d come to expect. The fairways were beyond ‘crispy’ with almost no grass as they had been cut so thin. The greens were in excellent condition and rolled true, although much to quickly for a resort layout. The greens while fast were also unplayably hard and would not hold any approach shot except those that were allowed to hit and bounce onto the playing surface. Like trying to control an approach shot off your driveway. I’ll not be playing here again even if they sent me a free round. Rickster-Marietta

Bill, the man in the pro shop, is an absolute G. He was really nice and funny. The course was amazing and fun for a somewhat experienced golfer. It was in great shape and the elevation changes were cool. I did break 100 and get a birdie, so …

I made the trip up with two of my friends to celebrate my 18th birthday. Was an amazing course and super beautiful. Bill in the pro shop is one of the nicest guys ever. Only complaint is the amount of three putting that took place :)

Course was in excellent condition and beautiful all around. Looking at it was just as fun as playing it. Bill in the Pro-Shop made the experience all the better. Very nice and welcoming. I would recommend and will probably return.
