We have had a wonderful experience with parks and rec dance classes! The teachers are wonderful and my kids love participating! Additionally, having lived in many communities around the country, the parks, playgrounds and pools here in MHK are fabulous!

I am thankful for all of the cool opportunities available to my kids. We love the arts in the park on Tuesdays, the little house in city park, the beautiful playgrounds and 3 pools all over town. We have enjoyed dance classes here more than at some of the big studios in town, the spring break soccer camp, swim lessons, tball, and so much more. I have 4 kids schedules to plan and so I sometimes wish the organization was a little better, but good people seem to work here and they are responsive to phone messages and concerns I have voiced (from rescheduling rain dates to feedback about the new summer play program). I very much appreciate the time and energy that goes into such massive event and program planning and will continue to enjoy our family time with parks and rec...everything they offer is an enhancement to the Manhattan community.

Extremely unorganized. Dates on forms are different than dates online which has led to lots of confusion and wasted time! Had multiple incidents where events have been canceled and never received an email saying so. Have tried calling the office multiple times and nobody answered. Needs new management!

Yes the are certified and have a license to umpire or ref.

First Christian Church (Lucas Ebert) has the Poyntz ave. Shelter reserved for Sunday. Is there a way to get electrical power to the electrical outlet there. It isn't working today.
