I loved it, totally even when it was raining the first 2 days. I will go back there in a heartbeat and take the 5-year-old and the 51-year-old who's never been there that I adopted, Letchworth you're wonderful.

Rustic but clean cabins in the quiet side of the park. We stayed in D01 which was secluded but a bit of a walk to the restrooms. Close to a few trails and a short drive to the other side of the park.

There are many cabins at Letchworth Park, and this review only applies to one, cabin D003, a small two-person-log-cabin. The D and E cabins are located on the not so public, much quieter side of the gorge, by the parade grounds. We stayed at the end of September 2020 from Tuesday to Friday morning. We typically tent camp, but I wanted something to get us up off the ground and give us some headroom. So I considered this to be our "log cabin tent." And as you can see, it was only slightly larger then our tent. It came with two cots that could not be put together, so if you are planning on a good time, you better be flexible. The cabin had electricity with plenty of outlets, one overhead light, one porch light, a small electric stove, a fridge, a small table, and two wooden chairs. We had to take out one of the chairs just to get the beds to fit. The site had a fire-ring as apparently fireplaces are out of fashion. There was room for a overhead tarp which we set up to give us more covered outdoor space. The site was very rough and not ADA safe at all. The bathrooms were a treat, very new, with nice showers, and they were ADA compliant so I imagine that some of the cabins are also. The check in is at the Visitors Center. We went nutty trying to figure that out. All in all, it was worth it to rent the cabin. We stayed dry in the heavy overnight rain, if we needed to warm up, we turned on the oven, we didn't need to buy ice for the cooler. And we camp to sit outside by the fire, not sit inside.
