Little guy had lots of fun! Highly recommend for little kids
Rebecca Stejakoski
Awesome place for my 3 year old and 6 year old. Could've stayed all day long.
Jasmine Tsukada (Kayo Uno)
Too early for crawling babies (under 1). She can play only infant area but adults have to pay $19. Maybe we will come back when she is enough old.
Thanks! Your review is awaiting moderation.
$14.95 1 yr old and up. Senoirs, and ffirst responders get a small discount
Normally no but the kids are still out on Xmas break so it maybe pretty busy.
Yes, we are proud members of the Museums for All initiative. Any family that qualifies for state food assistance and is in possession of an EBT card (known as the Link card in Illinois) or WIC ID can simply present the card or ID to receive admission for up to six people for $3. There must be at least one adult and one child 15 years old or younger to qualify for the Museums for All admission rate.
Yes adults also. Have fun!
Yes. Everyone pays, personally I think it's worth it. You can go in and out as you please for the day. Or take advantage of their free family night on Thursday's evening from 5pm to 8pm
Yes we were there a few weeks ago and we had to show them
What ages and what are they into? But, maybe the stores or food court
They have a toddler room for younger kids, crawling to 2yrs, I have a six year old and 8 year old who both enjoy it still. I'd say 13 might be too old, unless you're kid is imaginative and enjoys going to play spaces still.
Yes, free for everyone from 5-8 p.m. every Thursday, and the first Sunday of every month for kids 15 and under. Always free to children under 1.
We went straight to the pier and just walked throughout the whole place. We only paid for parking and food.
It was founded in 1982 by The junior league of Chicago
I don't think so
Total but parking is $25
No, sadly it should be as masks aren't required. Every single room was filled with unmasked adults and kids, quite a few were coughing. I saw a toddler seriously sick. Coughing fits, hard time breathing. I'd at least wear a well fitted mask. Who knows how many kids could have gotten sick. I visited 8/1/22. I left immediately after I saw how sick this kid was. I saw dad go into an elevator up to the third floor! Unbelievable. PARENTS KEEP YOUR SICK KIDS HOME
Only for employees. Masks optional for visitors.
You should be fine. They don't have designated times anymore.
You need to look up the reciprocity list/ACM member list and see if they are both listed as participating and if it's free or half price. They also don't usually match the number of people on your membership (minimum like 1 or 2 adults even if your membership is for more). Also, don't forget navy Pier parking is like $30+
Adult fare is 13.95, $1 discount for seniors, additional discount for teachers, first responders and military available at ticket counter only.
They charge you one dollar for each person , and discount parking
No the children museum is not free but check with your local library they may have passes available
You can check their website
If you have a Chicago Public Library card you can check out free passes.
I have no idea sir
If he likes to build buildings or do some science, he might. If you want just to try it out Thursdays are cheaper and they have extended hours
No. It's not even free 10 min before closing. Full price.
It is free for educators, but I don't know about hospital employees.
I do not know the truth is that they are only specific days that are free
You need to check the list of museums that Cosi has given you to ensure a free or discounted admission
h
Yeah, they are listed on museumsforall.org. Link card gets up to 6 people at $3 each. Also Thursday 5-8 pm is free family nights.
For adults € 11; kids free Parking apart approx € 12
At least 4 hours. Depends, I let my kiddo explore everything. If you choose to do some classes then it a bit more time. My kiddo and I were there for 7 hours. We took a lunch break.
Yes
Yes!
General admission is $14.95 however a TON of discount and free options exist (teachers, first responders, veterans, SNAP/WIC card holders, children w/disabilities...) Definitely check website.
When I went they only gave a $4 discount. So the parking was $26.
That's right, except when there are special events and you only enter with a pass
It's a lot for the kids to they will love it. They have a water area and my kids love that the most.
They charge 14.95 per person but Thursdays from 5 to 8 it is free
It depends on the age of your children and how active you all are. I have a 4.5 year old, 6 yr old, and infant. We were done in about 2.5 hours even as slammed as it was. We also toured the Navy Pier, went on the Centennial Ferris Wheel, and walked around Chicago for more sight seeing. We went to Rainforest Cafe for lunch, which I don't recommend to anyone, and FireCakes for dessert!! The most fun and time consuming parts for them were the water zone/play area and the area where they got to invent something to try and make it move or fly their little finger monster. They loved it! As long as your kids can handle it, a second museum would be fine! Just get there super early, bring healthy snacks and water, and I suggest grabbing lunch before hittting the next one! Hopes this helps!
You are a child period. Go have fun. Be a child
Yea you have many choices & kid friendly choices as well.
There's free admission to the museum every Thursday and the first sunday of every month.
Yes, but for teachers it's only 5 $ there is also a discount for veterans and firefighters. And if you have wic the admission is 3 $ for up to 6 people
Not a lot ay the museum itself. Just vending machines. But the museum is inside navy pier, and that has a lot of options. In and out privileges assure eating is not a problem.
It's Chicago traffic, not horrible but definitely not great. Parking$28 & fairly easy in parking garage.
At the Children's Museum it's slim pickings for teenagers. If you trust them on their own however the museum is located at Navy Pier, which is basically a mall on a dock. If malls are not their thing there is also an IMAX theater, various other attractions and things to see all around being located in middle of downtown.
