We ordered omakase and the food was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the service was very rushed and some courses came out “when they were hot” versus if we were finished with the previous course. For a $300 dinner, it would be nice if we were given more time to enjoy. Great food but not a great experience.

This is some of the best sushi in Chicago and I’d recommend it to anyone who has never been. However, it remains completely unchanged since it expanded. The food is identical every time you visit almost factory like. Since covid the service is rushed and sitting at the bar it’s clear the artistry of cooking has been lost amongst the brothers. This no longer feels like that whole in the wall on the westside, its time to change it up. I hope they take a break and build a new menu.

Okay but not amazing. We tried the Omakase. All the food was refresh and good but there is no wow factor. The ingredients were just common sushi fish such as yellow tail, tuna, and salmon. Nothing out of ordinary. I feel like it is just regular sushi disguised in small plate presentation. It was ok, but there is no incentive for me to come back

nice service. the food is amazing! Sashimi is very fresh, dishes are delicate, one of the best dining experience!
