I used them to install a new HVAC system in my apartment last year and there were very easy to work with, on time, and fairly priced. They provided a detailed quote and multiple options for me to choose from. Recently there were some issues with water leaking in the utility closet which was suspected to be a plumbing issue but they still sent a service rep out to investigate the issue and try to remedy the issue. They showed me exactly what was wrong, were extremely helpful, and tried to resolve it with the tools they had even though it was not something involving the HVAC system. Our entire building uses them and everyone is happy with their service. Michelle was very helpful in the office and Derek was friendly and on time for the service call.

Nice, friendly, efficient service technician. In fact everyone I spoke to was kind, patient, and receptive to my needs. I feel very comfortable having them do work in my home.

My water heater went out with the gas control unit not lighting up at all. I called the water heater company and luckily it was still under warranty. The water heater company gave me a few suggestions for repair companies and one was Reeder. I gave Reeder a call and they told me it would be $90 to come diagnose the problem and $100 an hour to fix the problem. Okay sure, I looked up the gas control unit and it was about $250 so whatever, I got stuff to do, at worst I'll break even right? The repair man Mike shows up at 1:45, tests the power to the gas control unit and claims it's getting power, calls the water heater company at 1:50, small talks, makes a joke about watching Youtube to replace a part, finally gets off the phone at 2:12. Tells me it's actually the pressure valve that needs to be replaced and he will come back Monday or Tuesday (it was Friday) and it would take no more than 15 minutes to replace the pressure valve. I get billed for the 30 minutes + the diagnosis fee. Come next Tuesday I call Reeder and they claim the part didn't come in yet and they were trying to track the part down. Wednesday passes and nothing. Thursday comes and I call Reeder and was told that Mike called me and told me to order the part myself, a call that I never got. What was he doing on the phone for 30 minutes? I call the water heater company and tell them the situation and they tell me repair companies usually orders and installs the part. Whatever, it has been almost a week and my tenant still has no hot water. I overnight the part and took Mike's joke about the Youtube tutorials seriously and find out it should just be a few screw, if he can do it in 15 I can do it in 30. The part comes and of course it's not just a pressure valve but a whole blower assembly because they don't make just the pressure valve anymore. This would require disassembling the vent pipes. Of course the blower assembly has been seized onto the top of the tank. Whatever, I take apart the blower assembly and just swapped out the pressure valves. I plug the water heater in, and it still doesn't turn on. I call the water heater company again and go through all the symptoms and they tell me if there is no LEDs lit on the gas control valve it means the gas control valve had to be replaced. They overnight me the control valve (luckily no shipping charge this time). I watch a youtube video on how to swap it out (thanks Mike). Plug everything in, and voila everything works now. The whole experience just left a terrible taste in my mouth from charging me 30 minutes of labor on the phone, to having no communication leading to a weeks delay in getting the part, to actually misdiagnosing the problem in the first place, I don't know what I even paid for.

I highly recommend Reeder. They installed a new furnace, A/C, and water heater for us. They finished the job in a day and a half and the cost was very fair compared to others. After the job was complete, they cleaned up completely and no mess was left behind. The worker ran us through everything he did after the job was done, offered tips and answered any additional questions we had. We are very happy with their service! We will definitely be using them again in the future if anything is needed.
