I've been going here for a year. My only complain is the amount of days they are closed, and the shotgun range not being self service, or open more often. The facility is starting to feel more run down. Could use a renovation. Staff is fine, no issues with them. They'll talk your ear off if you let them. I made a few small rule violations, they were very chill, and non condescending about it. Friendly guys these days.

Nice Gun Show! Friendly people!

Having been at other ranges where changing your targets is a dangerous task I appreciate the strong attitude about safety at Bristol. Friendly volunteers, nice facility. Nice pricing for seniors. Heat in the short range shelter.

Today was my first visit to Bristol and I was a bit concerned after reading some reviews. The experience I had was great. All the ROs were very nice. Very helpful. Very safe. We spoke about 3d printed firearms and I watched them help people sight in their rifles and teach others how to hold their pistols with good posture. I'm much happier that the they call out un safe people than wind up in the hospital or worse. If you want to go to a range and mag dump over and over. This is not the place.

I don't think they supply rentals, but I'd recommend taking a basic firearms course and you can learn about different guns there. I'd recommend Red Dot Arms in Lake Villa.
If you're asking about the fees at the shooting range, it's 30 dollars a shooter all day if you're not a member.
I was a member back in 2005, 2006. I was from Illinois and nobody even asked me where I was from. Had to put my address on my membership app but that was it. And yes, WI has no FOID cards and I don't remember having to show mine but then again I don't remember purchasing ammo there either.
You'd have to ask them to be sure but I'd say within two weeks
You can bring as many guns as you want first 10 benches are enclosed that is on the hundred and the 200 yard line
Friday noon to 5 Saturday 9 to 5 Sunday same that's rifle range
One of the Range Officers can help, depending on who's on duty and how busy the range is.
