John and his family were great hosts. The motel was occupied by several snowmobilers (Direct trail access) during our stay. He was very helpful in instructing everyone where to park to minimize congestion, as well as being a resource for info (we were new to this area). He worked hard to make sure a number of us had what we needed and were comfortable. The room was clean and well-kept. I would recommend wearing slippers when it is cold out, but we were very comfortable with a good bed and pillows, spacious bathroom, mini-fridge, microwave and fresh coffee in the office each morning. The owner seems to be a man of integrity. Our family will be returning to Colton Point Motel in the future.

Economical two night stay at the end of summer. Great location for hiking West Rim Trail or biking the Pine Creek Rail Trail. Beds comfy, excellent breakfasts (extra charge). This is a place to retreat to if you want to avoid cell phones and internet; they do have wifi but it didn't reach my room. The property is very restful with pond, picnic tables, even a paddle boat on the pond. Very friendly owner/operators.

I cannot say enough about this motel. So clean. Spacious. Family friendly. Pet friendly. And has a stocked fishing pond for kids. Reasonable rates and offers breakfast. Owners are super nice, very kind. We needed a place with no reservation, that had room for two adults and two kids, two dogs and needed it fast after a problem with our camp. We were turned away by several other motels for not having a reservation but were welcomed here. I highly recommend this motel if you are staying anywhere in the area.
