Having to wait for the only amtrak train going my direction which comes at 1am. Show up before 8:00pm and the waiting room is already closed, with no outside-accessible restroom. This station BADLY needs a solution for people waiting for trains who need to use the restroom at night. A portajohn, anything would suffice.

I have never been there personally but my girlfriend lives near here. Toccoa Amtak Station. She lives in Cornelia and films freight trains for Danny and I . Amtrak runs at night here.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The museum connected to the ststion is very interesting and reasonably priced. Worth checking out when you are in Toccia.

Yes but the parking lot for the train station itself is small, however the museum on the other side has a bigger parking lot and there are cameras everywhere
No agent at station. Train personnel will help load and unload. Station is usually open to use restrooms and seating out of weather. Well lit at night. Very safe a block from police dept. Welcome to our area. Night trains notoriously late sometimes several hours
The Crescent is the Amtrak passenger train. It travels from Pennsylvania Station in New York to Union Passenger Terminal in New Orleans.
